The Secondary Virtual Academy utilizes the online learning platform called Edgenuity. Instruction is delivered through a mix of pre-recorded direct instruction videos with interactice checks for understanding, performance tasks such as projects, essays, online content and journal activities, and frequent assessment.  

Each class has a SCASD teacher assigned, and these teachers will provide the students with feedback on submitted work, additional help/instruction with concepts, and regular class meetings.
